Patrick Ford-Torrani has a background in design-build construction and degree in Furniture Design and Craftsmanship from The Vermont Woodworking School. He has shown a body of conceptual work at the Vermont Studio Center rooted in the heritage of American workmanship titled "John Henry Survival Society." He also took part in a group show at the Frog Hollow Craft Gallery called "Work in Progress" in which he presented "Family Tree of Spoons" measuring life's duration in loving spoonfuls.
